Putting your horse in training at Slide Mountain Ranch has a lot of benefits and features many other barns cannot offer. Ike and Cheri also have extensive knowledge and experience with competition horses, and they maintain close communications with owners.

As a teacher, Ike is very proud of his Non-Pro, Amateur and Youth riders, many of whom have become champions in local, regional and world associations, including the American Paint Horse Association, Quarter Horse Association and the National Cutting Horse Association. Many are also very successful at the local cutting clubs.

We work hard to keep the best care of horses in training and are knowledgeable in all areas of horse health. Our facilities include a covered arena, large outdoor round arena, lunging pens, hot walker, wash rack, awesome footing and access to cattle. Nothing could be better for your horse's mental and physical condition than our wonderful trails. You can also stay here at the ranch and be involved with your horse's progress. The guest house offers you a chance to get away for a vacation while enjoying the accomplishments of your horse.
