We are open year round. Reservations should be made in advance, via e-mail or phone. To reserve a date with us you will need to send a deposit to hold your reservation. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable once. We do not accept credit cards. Sorry for the inconvenience. The nearest airports are Sacramento, San Francisco, and Oakland. Each requires 2-3 hours driving time. Weekend or day visits are fine as well as longer stays. Meals: You are on your own for meals. Tuolumne offers some restaurant choices including several choices at Black Oak Casino just a mile from the ranch. Sonora offers many more choices and is an eight-mile drive. The guest house has a kitchenette, and a BBQ grill if you want to do your own cooking right here.

The above map shows all the corridors from major California cities. We're some 120 miles from both San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. You'll see the Slide Mountain Logo just northwest of Sonora off Highway 108 on the map above. (right click to print it out)

Here's a local mapand directions you can use when in the Sonora area.

Stay on Highway 108 in Sonora.  Take a right on the Mono Way Exit. Take a right on Tuolumne Road, go 8 miles to Tuolumne City. Take a left on Carter Street (1/2 mile), a right on Buchanan Road (1/2 mile) and a left on Mira Monte Road. Our ranch entrance will be the first driveway on the left on Mira Monte. You'll see the Slide Mountain sign.
